From Friday 20th of June, 2008, citizens of most nationalities will be able to enter Ecuador, with no need of visa, and to remain by a period of ninety days, in application of the principle of free circulation of people and with the purpose of fortifying the relations between Ecuador and all the countries of the world, and promoting the tourism.
The Consulate of Ecuador in London grants Visas to: - nationals who live permanently in the United Kingdom - nationals who reside in nearby countries where there are no Ecuadorian Consulates and nationals for whom the United Kingdom is the first stop in their itinerary to go to Ecuador. - All applicants need to book an appointment calling at the Consulate of Ecuador in London (02074510040) Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 17:00
-The address of the Consulate of Ecuador is: 58-59 Trafalgar Square, Uganda House, First Floor, London, WC2N 5DX (the nearest tube station is Charing Cross) - Visas are issued at the Consulate and the interested party must be present. - No visas will be issued by post. - All visa applicants have to complete a form in person at the Consulate of Ecuador in London. - The visa application form must be completely filled with the supporting documents. - All the documents presented at the Consulate must be originals and a set of photocopies is also requested, please bring all of them in order. - At the moment of the application in the Consulate General, the applicants must know the address that they will have in Ecuador upon arrival. - Fees are to be paid in cash. The nationals who have been granted a visa to go to Ecuador have to register themselves at the "Dirección General de Extranjería" in Quito, (Av. Gaspar de Villarroel y Av. 6 de Diciembre, Edificio Karina, Planta Baja, PBX +59322460364 /+59322253082), or at the "Sub-Dirección de Extranjería" in Guayaquil (Malecón y Aguirre Esquina, Telf: +59342322692 / +59342325693), within the first 30 days from their arrival.
